At St David’s, we envision a future where our students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and passion to shape a better world. Guided by the Curriculum for Wales. Science and Technology is committed to fostering a culture of enquiry, exploration, discovery, and creativity.
We recognise the importance of technological fluency in today’s rapidly evolving world. Our Area of Learning equips students with the necessary skills to adapt to emerging technologies, encouraging them to be responsible digital citizens and be ready for a Wales that will be at the forefront of technology and engineering.
Our vision is to create an inspiring learning environment that nurtures scientific and technological curiosity and fosters an interest in science in their day to day lives, ensuring every student thrives and achieves their full potential. By using authentic hands-on experiences, and real-world applications, we aim to cultivate a love for science and technology that goes beyond the classroom.
We strive to cultivate a deep understanding of science, engineering design and information technology and promote critical thinking skills among our students. Through hands-on experiments, investigative projects, and collaborative discussions, we encourage students to question, analyse, and explore the world around them. Our curriculum places emphasis on empowering students to become independent thinkers, designers and problem solvers.
